The ‘Pap-Arazzi’ name is African-based with everyone recognizing “pap” as a staple food. We are collaborating with a brand builder in Australia to start EDI-BOWL, which will focus on supplying artisanal vegan and vegetarian dishes in eco-friendly, biodegradable packaging to customers. The Pap-Arazzi press and moulds will be used to create the dishes, which will include 2 vegan dishes, 2 vegetarian dishes and 1 meat dish. We are currently in active development with new recipes to meet these requirements.
We have decided to pilot Edi-bowl in Australia since the customer base there is very focussed on vegan and vegetarian food dishes, and in general favour low environment-impact products. If the concept is successful there, we will branch out towards Europe, as well as here in South Africa. Once Edi-bowl is established, we want to create an interactive loyalty app for Edi-bowl customers to use. The app will include information regarding where our ingredients are sourced from, our recipes, any other interesting information, and it will include loyalty rewards when customers regularly buy Edi-bowl products on the app. The aim for PAP-ARAZZI is to provide affordable, comfort food dishes that will satisfy customer’s hunger with hearty, filling meals. Whereas Edi-bowl will cater for a different target market by providing high-quality, artisanal, unique, colourful, healthy, eco-friendly dishes which are trendy and slightly more expensive. |
